Leather jacket...

Well I guess it's official, I'm now a Rocker Jacket painter. I have never painted a leather jacket before, and I didn't know if the One Shot paint would work, but it does, and quite well. I met these young twin brothers a while back, who have this little shop down in San Luis Obispo, Ca. building cars. The one brother Peter, is always wearing this leather jacket, and wanted me to paint it for him. So here it is, I just finished it. Sort of fun to do, but also a pain at the same time (old leather is not the smoothest surface).

  1. Only time will tell if the paint will age nicely along with the jacket. So far, things are looking good. The image of the car is a good fit for the leather jacket, so cheers on a job well done!

  8. Love the thoughtful discussion here. For anyone who enjoys flying or is exploring ownership options, fractional co-ownership is a smart way to get in the air without the full burden of sole ownership. If you're considering a single engine plane for weekend trips, training, or cross-country travel, shared ownership can make it markedly more affordable while still providing real scheduling flexibility and access. Well-maintained fleets, concierge support, and transparent pricing make it easy to focus on the joy of flight.

  9. Really like the way this conversation explores the joy of flying and the practicality behind it. A lot of people are curious about getting into aviation but aren’t sure where to start—or what the costs actually look like. If you’ve ever wondered how much does a small plane cost, fractional co-ownership can be a great entry point. Shared maintenance, predictable expenses, and well-kept fleets make it possible to enjoy real flight time without the full weight of solo ownership.
