Heading south to Santa Maria...
Went down last night to check into the room at the Santa Maria Inn, the parking lot was already full of vintage kustom cars. Looks like it's going to be a big one this year...

Todays tailgate...
I made the call at 7:48, had the tailgate off by 8:15, lettered it, outlined it, striped it, and had it back on by 1:30, what service... I aim to please!
FFA
I think Roger is bringing me over a vintage FFA jacket, when he comes over to the Santa Maria Car Show this weekend. Not sure if the lady will be inside?

Some traditional scallops and stripes, with a little bit of eighties mini-truck thrown in for good measure. The truck that this re-pop Caddy air cleaner is going on, is red and white, and so I used those colors to spice up the unit. Over time, I have grown to hate the flat black, red & white color combo, but in this case it worked...

Kustoms
I saw some traditional style kustoms driving through Paso Robles today on Spring st. It seems old habits die hard. Santa Maria is this weekend, and I'm sure that they are heading that way, and although 101 passes right next to Paso, everyone coming from up north, gets off and cruises through town. I'm sure just to feel a tiny bit of what once was...

Today...
Striped the Triumph tank and fender early this morning, before it got warm, saw this ultra rare Pontiac wagon and trailer on the side of the road, and had some outstanding ahi tacos for lunch... Now I'm off to the beach, not so bad.

Pismo Beach vintage trailer rally...
Spent a nice Sunday morning walking through the Pismo Vintage Trailer Rally with a cup of coffee. There were some outstanding vintage trailers and campers.
