Proulx Winery, Paso Robles

 Finished up the Proulx Winery/Tasting Room signage, and mounted it all today. All hand lettered and drop shadowed, the way a proper winery should be. The background color is a single stage auto paint, so that the red will last. This new signage gives a much richer look to the place (the old signs were vinyl, and almost every bit of it was peeling).

1934 Ford 3 Window GNRS sign...

 Nick commissioned me to make a show sign for the Grand National Roadster Show this weekend in Pomona. It was an honor, as his car it a truly incredible example of an early survivor Southern California Hot Rod.

1956 Triumph TR6

 Rick's Pre Unit tins that I leafed and striped a couple of weeks back, set onto the bike in the top picture. The tins are getting buried in clear, and then the bike will be put together. This is one great looking desert sled, and I just love the colors together.

 I am so stoked to be involved as an artist, in the Oil & Water art exhibit at the 10th anniversary David Mann Chopper Fest in Ventura on December 8th. It's great to be included with so many other great artists. It's going to be a good one!

Rodders Jornal and Hot Rod magazines...

 So happy to have my work featured this month in perhaps the two biggest hot rod car magazines on the newsstands. Rodders Journal and Hot Rod Magazine have covered Logan Davis' killer Vintage Performance Automotive (VP Automotive) streamliner and roadster, both of which I hand lettered. Logan is a gifted builder, and a good friend, it's good to see him in the spotlight. He deserves it!
