Some old pictures of the Paso Robles A&W / 21st St Drive-In. So many great times at this place. For many years, one of the hubs for the KKOA Car Show. Just an overall great meeting place. The city of Paso Robles, under the wise leadership of Jim App (the same brilliant man who spearheaded the removal of the Kustom show) sold the ground out from under the historic drive-in, with no option to keep it open. A local bank bought the land, leveled the drive-in, and for some years now, the land has sat empty with a fence around it. A real shame, one less piece of true Americana, and no more French Burgers!!!
