Revolution 2...

 I was asked to Leaf, Letter and Stripe the Revolution 2 drag rail for Pete of the Saints car club. The body and paint was handled by Darin and Danny at A&H Customs. Pete's father was good friends with Mike Mitchell, and so this car is a tribute to the now famous original, and the man himself. As usual, I can't wait to see this under clear, I will put pictures up once it's sprayed. 

Beauty...

 Kevin stopped by today to show me this beautiful little 56'. This bike is wearing it's age SO well, I was instantly taken with it. The tank has some cool old water transfer pinstripe decals (prob. Ed Roth). I tried trading many things that I own, but as of yet, no deal. So nice...

Hesher Mobile...

Ok this car was on the outside lot, behind the Roadster Show a couple of weeks back. I saw it, and it instantly took me back to my Jr. High days. The stance (stink-bug), the meats, the blower, hell this thing probably has ladder bars. Don't get me wrong, I did go over to photograph the car, so I was digging it on some level. The funny thing is, that as I took a few pictures, at one point (as usual at a packed car show) some guy walked right in front of my camera. Only now, as I look back through the pictures, do I see how ironic this picture is. This car is a true Mullet Magnet, at the time I didn't even notice. Too funny...

Belt...

 I have wanted to figure out leather working for some time now. The problem was always that I didn't have the correct tools. So at some point, I got some super basic pointers & just went for it, I grabbed an old belt strap from my buddies saddle shop and made a bevel punch with a metal rod, and a grinder. The cuts are made with an exacto knife, and the circle punch stipple effect, was from a metal punch and hammer. The process turned out to be good therapy, and a nice way to wind down from the long workdays.

 By the way, spent 22 shells, make great hole punches...

Boy's new garage find...

 The Boy has been sending me pictures all day of this incredible 50 thousand mile, one owner Studebaker that he pulled out of a forgotten garage yesterday. Original paint, original interior, the dealer plastic model of this car, the original window sticker, and filled with boxes of NOS replacement parts. I am trying my absolute best to not be super jealous. Great score!
