Famoso Speed Shop cars...

Found these on the internet, some of the cars that I have lettered for the Famoso Speed Shop. Can't wait to do more, there are several more to be built, as soon as the economy turns around, If that ever happens?...

Once in a blue moon...

Crazy looking rare Blue Moon out tonight...

Ruler...

Steven Cowan was so angry that Bristol Palin was on Dancing with the Stars, that he took a shotgun to his television. He has a point, there are some truly lame shows on the TV...

The 30th annual SLO County Toy Run flyer, small print. Featured band: Dave Bourbon and the Hydramatics. Looking forward to it!

The Boy's old 53'

Found this pic of "The Boy's" old 53' Chevrolet that I striped. This car is now down in Long Beach, but it still seems to pop up here and there. I think that this was my second attempt at pinstriping (in my driveway at dusk). It came out ok, and all these years later, it still remains un-changed.

Smaller guys take note...HERE

I just listed this jumper on EBAY... Too small for me unfortunately.

Only in San Miguel...

Just down the road from the shop. There are so many broken down / sealed-up old buildings in this town. I want to explore each one, to see what's left inside...

Slipped away...

Just missed this yesterday, sold for $40 as I was going for it...

Sheepherders Wagons...

For years now, I have been intrigued by the traditional sheepherders wagon. I have always fancied the idea of building one, and setting it on a remote corner of my parents ranch. Sort of a guest house in the waiting, for when we go to visit. But as the economy continues to tank, and it's looking less and less like the government is on our side, it seems like one of these could be the answer.

Drive by...

Super last second I-Phone, almost missed shot, of a bitchin' lifted Chevy in Stanton Ca.

Truckstops...

Went down to Orange County to pic up this 60' Ranchero. I bought my daughter a 61' and needed a few parts. I ended up with a complete car, and a bed full of parts for very cheap. Then just the other night, I received a call from a friend, who gave me yet another complete running 61' Ranchero. So somehow now, I have three Ranchero's? All for under a $1,000 total. Funny how that happens...

Bo Huff Benefit...

I was asked by Sara Schultz to pinstripe a picture frame, for a picture that she was drawing of one of Bo Huffs builds. Sara was asked by Ol Skool Rodz to come up with something for a benefit auction, she did a great job. Check out Sara's work on her website at www.ToplineGraphicDesign.com

Tri-Five Kustom...

Clay sent me this picture. We have been talking lately about the over abundance of cookie cutter tri-five Chevy's at every car show. Clay and I went to look at a 57' 150 a few months back, the price was right, but Clay couldn't get past the stigma associated with the car. We talked about different ways, that if he did get the car, he could build it. These are cool cars, it just sucks that everybody has one, and that they are all built the same (the "new" Paso show on Labor Day, must of had 50 tri-fives, all in rows, all looking the same except for color). This car, along with many other Kustom tri-fives proves that these cars can be interesting.
This is Mark Garza's (Stylish Kustoms blog) 57' Handyman wagon, very clean mild kustom, and miles away from every other tri-five at the shows.

Wood shop project... LINK HERE

Mike R. sent me this. And I thought that I was a decent wood-worker.
