Paso Cars....

Brian and Ed's cars. Ed has the 48' that until recently, wore all of the accessory gadgets, of any respectable Bomb. However, the car is fast becoming a Kustom. Brian has the 54' and the truck. Looking good....

Wayne Chumbley's 45...

My buddy Mike sent me these picks of his co-workers just back on the road Flathead. I guess he picked this bike up back east for 3 grand, and made it into what we see now. Very Nice, classic piece. I hope to have pic updates when the paint scheme is figured out.

San Luis Obispo Classic Motorcycle Rally...

This is going to be a good time. The weather will be perfect on the Central Coast. It's an easy ride from the City or from L.A. Great vintage bikes, different rides each day. Great sponsors, with Rabers and the Ace cafe. They do this Mods vs Rockers contest. This will be a great weekend, and it's right in my backyard.

Gram Parsons....

Listened to Gram Parsons today while I worked in my shop. Reminds you every time about how great he was, and how great his music still stands up. Chicken Skin, that's the effect. Oh and what a life story, although very short.

Hand Lettering....

Nice to see some hand lettered windows, this is old school, and I think that it looks great. Makes me want to bid some jobs this way, rather than using vinyl.

Vegas...

Las Vegas, home to some of the best neon signs that this United States has to offer. And now the old signs are being restored and put out for show. This is what I like best about Vegas, playing slots, and all of that is OK for a bit, but the machines are very tight and you end up loosing your money. The people are a whole diffrent story... From the chrome shirt guys with the token fake tit chicks going to the dance club, to the bottom dwillers that wander the streets asking for change, a bit sketchy to say the least. This was the last stop on our road trip, then back home. Don't get me wrong, Vegas is a place to go, and I'm sure I will go back again, again. There are just for me, alot cooler places to go.

Williams Arizona....

About my favorite town ever. For years I have been trying to figure out how to live here. From Route 66 as the main strip, to a drive-in liquor store / gun shop, to what is about the best steak house I've been to. Great people, nice weather, a "right to carry" state, and no helmet law. Food for thought.....

Ok, this "Ol Boy" added 5+ feet to this vintage Oliver tractor so that his home made scraper could turn and clear the front tires. All of this with a stick welder, and alot of farm logic. By the way, he uses this tractor daily to level lots for new homes.

Inside the liquor is on the right wall, and the rifles and handguns are on the left. If you just want booze, you just drive in, honk, let them know what you want, and they will bring it out to you.

Rod's, if you are ever in this part of the world... STOP HERE... I had a fillet, that you could cut with a fork. Oh and the owners commissioned a painting from me. Not a bad way to spend the 4th of July.

Haunted Mine Tour & Vintage Truck Graveyard

Below,
This is the old Chrysler dealer (or a photo of it long ago), The building is still here but the car is not hanging outside, The door in the building is today a auto museum, and that car is inside. The wall lettering still reads the same...

TombstonE

Tombstone, the most famous of the southern Arizona ghost towns. Alot of history, the shoot out at the OK corral, the Earp brothers, to vast fortions gained in the silver mines. This place is very cool, of coarse the tourists pay the bills, so alot of stores selling crap. The history is retained in this town very well. Well worth the stop.
