Is this what it's come down to? Tonight I stopped by Barnes & Noble and browsed through the magazine rack. To my surprise, there is a magazine dedicated to these shit boxes, and apparently the the shittier the better. I have seen this sort of car, thrown together with crap from any and everywhere. It's always funny to see one, next to a really nice traditional hot rod. I had no idea that this is a style, or something to strive to. There is a 29' coupe that runs around this area without a deck lid, kicked up front and back with a airbag compressor sitting up out of the trunk area on top the cross member. Hot Rod? Hardly. I guess I'm out of the loop, but I'm not understanding this all.
These guys are to hotrods what clowns are to cars.....similar result funnily enough!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, I think I know the one you speak of.
ReplyDeleteGood Lord! I thought those deathtraps were finally fading away! Ugh!
ReplyDeleteRidiculous!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are some bad-ass rides! I bet the dudes who drive those things are crazy! They just weld together parts of whatever they can find into some cool looking road warrior cars. These guys live on the edge man! That flaming logo is tough.
