Kenny Van Blargen...

Got the news today that veteran racer, and my friend Kenny Van Blargen , passed away this morning. After a long fight to survive, and be realised from the hospital, after flipping his sprint car last year, Kenny had been living at his house with assistance. The Woodland's just restored his sprint car, and had me re-letter it, a few weeks ago. Sure am sorry to hear this news. A great guy, and many great stories! Our thoughts go out to his family. RIP

Yes, now your talkin'...

So I guess I'm getting old. I mean, when a canoe on the roof, turns me on more that straight pipes and lowering blocks...

About to loose another GREAT...

The world is about to loose yet another of it's great musicians. His music, as the drummer and singer for The Band, and in recent years, on his own, is truly haunting and beautiful. His voice is so good. Our thoughts go out to Levon Helm and his family. Thanks for all that you have done!

This from his website:
Dear Friends,
Levon is in the final stages of his battle with cancer. Please send your prayers and love to him as he makes his way through this part of his journey.

Thank you fans and music lovers who have made his life so filled with joy and celebration... he has loved nothing more than to play, to fill the room up with music, lay down the back beat, and make the people dance! He did it every time he took the stage...

We appreciate all the love and support and concern.
From his daughter Amy, and wife Sandy

Found this litte guy tonight...

Almost ran over this little guy tonight on the road by our house. Huge rain storm going on, and he was soaked and cold, running circles in the street. He ran into the field and was standing in a deep puddle with only his head above water. Then a huge air bubble came up through the puddle, and I knew it must be his den flooded. I couldn't leave him there, because I am sure that he wouldn't have made it. He's in a crate in the kitchen sleeping now. Dry and warm. Now what do I do with him? Can you raise a Coyote?

Some killer pics on bikernet.com, CLICK HERE

Some great pictures of Bryan Thompson's 1959 Pre-Unit on bikernet.com. This bike is fresh off of it's best custom win at last weekends prestigious Clubman Show in San Jose. Bryan did such a great job on every aspect of this build, while keeping it all Triumph. I am so stoked to have had a small part to add with the Gold Leaf and stripes. A truly beautiful bike...
